You asked about your truck being over 7,000lbs and complained about paying the extra fee. All F150s are going to be over that limit. If you don't like it, get a smaller vehicle. Not sure what the problem is.

I simply offered an alternative to you to avoid having to pay taxes on total weight of the smallest version of a F150 truck, which in your words, said it sucked. When I asked why, you said in the way of total weight because of the taxes you'd have to pay. So an alternative would be a smaller truck, the Ford Ranger.

The Ford Ranger is an excellent truck in its own class. I own a 2000 Ford ranger 4x4 with over 215K on its original 3.0 engine. Still running strong.

If you look under "late model F150's" on this site, you'll see that we have a link that takes you straight to the Ranger Forum, our popular forum for those trucks.

Don't understand your comment on how that makes me being an opposite of an asset to this forum for suggesting a Ford Ranger.

Good luck in your search.

unfortunately, I didn't know that when the car was given to me. I literally had no idea that is was rated so high until I started paying the registration on it this year.
