Question about the 4.6/5.4...
The 4.6/5.4 were both designed to be SOHC engines. My question is, does a SOHC design give you more power than OHV pushrod engines? So to say if the 4.6/5.4 were designed with pushrods, would they be less powerful? I am just curious to if SOHC has power benefits because I know DOHC has great power benefits. Just a question for curiosity. Thanks.
