Here's the question - are you planning to off-road and air down below 20psi (rough figure)? That's when you might run into issues; your threshold for popping a bead on a narrower wheel will be lower (i.e. less tolerance).
I don't think I will ever be dropping it down that low. I do go offroading from time to time, but most of the time it is in mud on logging roads/ getting through the mud on my families hunting property, not much rock climbing or situations where I would let much if any air out of my tires. They would probably stay inflated to recommended specs 99% of the time.

Yes I have read through that while doing my research. According to that guide you can ffit 35x12.5x18 on stock rims, however, I saw posts which other forum members across multiple boards said you cannot so I was torn between what to believe.

I appreciate everyones input so far. It really helps out a whole lot.

The 295/70/r18 tires comes out to be a 34.3x11.6r18 tire, plenty big and will fit well on factory rims. I'd go with those, should save you a good bit of cash as well.

I ve seen f150's with stock rims running 35 1250 before and it looked real good. Like previous posters said you stand a better chance of busting a bead. You may have to play with the air pressure to get it to wear evenly but I had to do the same thing with my old ranger and 31's.

Ive got about 5-10k miles on em. No problems whatsoever. I love em. I just would rather have a true 35 rather than a 295 but each to their own. I do rub a lil bit on full lock but it doesnt bother me. Heres a pic of when i first got em. Fills up nicely.

Looks really good man. You said these are 35x12.5s? Or are these 295s. Either way it looks great man. Nice truck!

They're the 35x12.15s for the stock fx4 18s. Love the nittos man. Can't go wrong.
