Default Putco Dome Lights


I've been trying to install this but I'm afraid the thing will break if I pull on it too hard. Anyone install this before? It's not as easy as they make it seem.

If you don't have a trim removal tool, you do have to put some muscle behind it. All trim removal pieces were made to be removed a few times. Like most trim pieces, just when you think it will break, they come off fine. They do make it seem like it just gently comes off. I thought mine would break when I put in my LED's...

it just unsnaps, wiggle your fingers between the headliner and the light and pull down, it just unsnaps, you REALLY got crank on it to break, don't be stupid and you will be fine.

the rear done, just push in on the detents and just unsnaps, take a look at it and you will what i mean

Hey guys! Thanks for the help. I got it open, BUT the front two bulbs did not work . I'm going to have to call Putco.

if they are actual leds, they will work 1 way and not the other
