Th trans cooler for towing is additional to the cooler built in the radiator

It is an extra cooler in front of the condensor, is what I am seeing. When you open the hood it is right there by the front bumper. I wish I could add a picture to this sight but I am not too sure how.

I did a 6” lift on my truck and wanted the rear to come up. Most 6” lifts raise the front higher than the rear. I don’t like the look of the front jacked up higher than the rear. My camper shell lowered the rear even more. So for me the AAL was part of the equation in resolving my issues of trying to get the truck level.
In strengthening the rear springs I don’t get as much rear sag when I hook up a heavy trailer.

AAL may not be for everyone. There are other solutions as per ATOM. Search, Google or keep asking on this great forum.

The AAL on my truck had two purposes for me.

1. To raise the back of my truck
2. More support for towing
