i have no preference on manufacture of my tires i have not had a tire i was completely satisfied with but i had to buy new tires i had bridgestone dueler i was very unhappy they lasted 7 months had about 15000 miles on them i wanted to get the bfg's but i was told from that tire shop he was having alot of problems and complaints about them many of my friends had had problems with them the past few months also a few of us want with the grabber at2 tires but to get to my point if the bfg all terrain perform like when i had them on my old ranger they are a great tire compared to most if that helps what makes a tire is still the driver.

ordered 275/65/18 of the BFG's and they were cheaper from tirerack. And that's even with me adding in the value for having them mounted, balanced, and valve stems and what not.

Any reason you opted for the 275/65/18 over the 275/70/18? Typically I've found the 70s cheaper than the 65s.

wasn't much difference, couple dollars and I didn't really feel the need to have bigger tires. And you mentioned it looked kind of funny from the rear. I know there wouldn't be rubbing issues, but thought there may be a mpg decrease.

And realistically, I haven't seen an mpg decrease. I adjusted my speedo and everything via my programmer and I'm only noticing a decrease of less than .4 mpgs on average of the last 3 tanks since installing the tires.
