Hi, I'm Andrew. I'm new to the pickup truck world.

I'm looking to buy a 2008 Supercab. The purchase solely depends on the usefulness of the rear seats. I have to put in 2 front facing car seats in the back. I'm afraid there is not enough space for comfortable child access in the rear. Can someone in similar situation help me understand how much space there will be with the 2 cars seats in? Photo reference much appreciated.

I just bought a Supercab last month. I don't have a front facing seat yet, but I do have a rear facing seat in the middle. It's not the easiest to get in/out of but it's doable. I'd imagine a front facing seat should be easier.

How you kidding? Look for SCREW
When I only had 1 kid the rear facing would only fit in the middle and that got old quick. The car seat was right up against the back of the front seats. The doors were also a pain seeing how you had to open the fronts before you open the backs

I only have one front facing seat, and I'll agree that it's "do able." Even in the middle, my son kicks the front seats. He can barely squeeze between the front seat and the child seat, so normally he climbs into it over the side. My 10 year old daughter rides behind the passenger because I'm 6'2 and my wife is 5'0. Unless you're also 5'0, I'd recommend the Screw.

yep.. car seats dont work well back there PITA.. go with a screw

I'ved put front facing seat in my07 Scab for my nephews a couple of time whitout any problem.
We are a expecting, and I didn't even think of it to be a problem for any child seat
Yes at 5yo he was able to kick the back of the seat.


I'm 5'9".


A Screw will always have more room, but if the deal is good for the Scab, it wouldn't be a deal breaker for me.

I have an scab an we put my girlfriends daughters front facing seat in the back and she has to move her seat way up I couldn't imagine putting one behind my seat you're deff better off looking for a screw

I actually bought it after I test fitted both seats and found to have enough room for me and kids. Im moving from a smaller car and I know it is not a long term solution but for now and then when the kids are in boosters it should work. The way the door open is also very convenient when putting kids in and out. Closing rear before closing front doesn't bother me... yet.
