Default Project FRAPTOR

So I'm 26 with a wife and a kid. I make decent money but I'm basically the sole provider for my family. Needless to say i don't have the means to afford a raptor.

So I'm building my own. I'm doing what i think ford should have done back in 04.

Phase 1: convert to 5.4 4v
complete.
This was last years project. I've driven it for almost a year with little to no issue. I'm going to be switching to a 4.6 computer to eliminate the check engine light and waste spark mode that it is currently in.

Phase 2: raptor front end
90% done
things remaining: aligning body panels, installing upper bumper cover, grille leds, fender emblems, and the antenna.

Phase 3: eaton m112 supercharger
purchased. Now to install. Pictures will be coming. I expect this project to take me a couple of months due to fabrication.

Phase 4: raptor bed
TBD
I'm holding off on this one for a bit because i would like to improve the drivability first.

Phase 5: interior and paint
TBD
Paint has to come after the bed and the interior is decent.

Phase 6: suspension
I picked this one last because the current suspension is adequate.

I will be adding pictures to the completed or started phases tomorrow. If anyone has any questions, feel free to ask.

Subbed! The raptor builds interest me a lot. I'm very curious to know what kind of money you put in.

Are you getting the body panels from the dude in San Diego?

I was wondering the same. Didn't have the time to research it just yet.
