Default Programmers for Lifted Trucks

I have a 2004 5.4L on a 6 inch and 35's and want to know what you guys think about the EDGE programmer. It has good reviews and I mostly want it for fuel economy. Even if I only get 1mpg better it would still pay for itself within a year.

Would a programmer have a bigger effect on MPG for a lifted truck since it recalibrates for the bigger tires? Or would it be similar to a stock f150s gains, or worse?

Anyone have mpg changes in lifted trucks from programmers?

Thanks

Better gains in HP.. Maybe yes/no in mpg... My mpg increased but over time went back down but since I've had the programmer I haven't been on any road trips to see how high it gets... City I'm at 13mpg... Normally stock says 14mpg city and 18mpg highway.. So I think I'm I'm range for canned tunes.... Custom tunes on the way...

PHP will no longer write NEW tunes for a EDge unless you've been a customer... Your best would be SCT from MPT...

Fixed. The monochrome Evo and Gryphon are still very alive and kicking for custom tunes.

Yes if it's already a gryphon.. Not going out and buying one from eBay or other sites then trying to get custom tunes

When did they stop writing tunes for the edge. I got my tunes from then maybe 6 months ago. Even if your mpg stays the same, its well worth it for the power gains.

The old monochrome Edge Evolution can still be converted through their Pegasus server to accept custom tunes. It does not have to be a Gryphon already. All the conversion is fully online now where you use to have to send it in.

Thats exactly what I did, although that was 10 months ago. Super easy.

If my post specifically said CS/CTS why are you still talking about monochrome and gryphon?? Are you under the impression that I don't have the same information as you?? It's stated on the php forum in RED!!

^ It didn't, remember I fixed that to specify? In post 4 you quoted me about the monochrome Gryphon. Your original post said Edge, Edge is a brand with many different products. No where did you state the CS/CTS. NEW tunes for an Edge doesn't say what product. Take it easy, I was just going by actual context.

Are you under the impression that I don't have the same information as you?
You have the information the PHP forum gives. I work with them a little more closely than that.
