as for not having a vehicle when and if you sell, get a gf lol when i sold my car i had to wait 2 weeks while my truck was shipped to me. she got to drive me around everywhere lol

No knock on you but if I were buying a truck and I knew it had all these performance mods on it (exhaust, cai, bigger throttle, etc) and it had been driven around by an 18 yr old, that would bring my offering price way down as I would assume that it had been driven very hard and probably dogged on occasion. You should let your parents take care of selling it or sell it to a used car lot like Carmax or something similar to get full value for it because once they know your age, the value drops. I know how I drove as a teenager as does everybody else and its not slow and respectable.

i think the quote of 19 is a bit high. i have a 06 fx4 with the center console, the rear sliding window, 6 inch lift, 35 inch tires, 20 inch wheels and i think i could only get around 17 for it and only 45k miles

This may sound stupid, but im good buds with the manager here at my local ford dealership. I think im gonna go in and see if there is any way i could get an even trade. Mine for 04+, decent miles 4x4, maaaaaybe lariat or fx4, like i said, more miles and 1-2 years older too.
