So I am considering selling my OEM Tailgate for another style. What would be a good price to ask? I'd prefer local so I wouldnt have to ship. There are minor paint chips along the base directly above the license plate. None are bigger than a pencil eraser, and again are all along the bottom. I can get picks if needed, so yea, whats a good price to ask? Its wedgewood blue if that matters. Thanks I.A.

You should be able to get some decent money for it since so many people dent them.

Do a search on craigslook.com to find some that are for sale.

Yea, I checked CL and all I found were dented ones, and they were asking $50, which is ridiculous. I am thinking $250 but again, is that too much?

I tried to go to CLook but it wouldnt load. My work internet is finicky sometimes. I'll try again. So maybe $350 is more the route I should take. Thanks for the info!

I'd try 500 OBO, and lower it once a week.

Good point. Leave some room for lowballers. Most on that CLook are going for $400 so me being firm @$350 aint bad I think. Thanks for that CLook link too. Thats handy!

Local Stealership wants $650. Let me go get a pic of mine to see if its worth the $500 I am asking, since I have some minor "used" marks above the license... brb

The second pic is catching my flash, so thats not a paint chip in the middle or anything.

When i got my truck it came with a messed up tail gate. to buy a new tail gate from ford,paint,and emblems cost me around $1000 "ouch"
