Has anyone had this problem? All of my buttons for the windows work when they want. Sometimes you need to push them 5-6 times before they go up. And it's only going up. Not down. I've tried to sand the contacts, so they get better connection.But that doesn't work. Anyone else have any other ideas. I don't really want to have to go buy all new switches.

So the buttons for all four doors are having this problem, or just the switches on the driver's door?

3 out of the 4 doors. Its a 2006 fx4 supercab. At first I was only having issues with the front passenger door. Now its the driver controls, and passenger front and rear.

All of the power routes through the drivers then out to the other doors, so I'd start at the connector there, maybe you've got a wire loose.

Had this happen to me, but it was only the drivers window. Changed master switch, fixed

I have a similar problem with my 05 fx4. The switch on the drivers door controls the other 3 windows properly but has problems controlling its own. The drivers window will roll down but i have to push the button mulitple times before it will roll up. The other 3 windows control themselves intermittenly. Also the rear sliding window does not work at all.
