Default Power Windows

I have a 2005 4 door F150 and my power windows don't work. They don't work from any of the doors. I can't find a specific fuse that might fix it. Any ideas?

Thanks

Did you check this one:

Or maybe your switches are dirty:

My roof and back window still work. I wouldn't think all the switches would go bad at the same time....guess I could try though.

I'm having the same problem... Checked the breaker and fuses.. have a feeling it's just my switches in the front.. What would cause them to randomly go out.. at the same time?

Since my STX does not have power windows, I don't know if you can pop out just the switches from the door arm....can this be done to check for power to the switch(s), or do you have to remove the door panel to gain access to the wiring plug harness that plugs to the switch(s)?

I'd be starting there, and verifying that I have power and ground to the power window switch(s).

I bought a new circuit breaker....didn't help. I bought a new driver's door switch....didn't help. Took it to the shop and it turned out to be a broken wire.

That's the problem with "tossing in parts" in an attempt to fix a fault. As I had suggested, it would have been cheaper to check for power and ground at the switch(s) with a simple test light or multimeter. You would have ruled out the switches. Then tested power at the output of the relay would have proved it was good.

These forums are great for suggestions, but in most cases, everyone will say "my truck did the same thing...I replaced the <abc> part and it fixed it". You need to take these suggestions as a starting point; a place to begin looking for a fault rather than just buying the part and replacing it first. You'll save in the long run.

Man, oh man! Just started having window problems (2000 F150, 113k miles), did a "Power Windows" search, read this thread, clicked on the link, and fixed the problem within 10 minutes. This 10 minutes included setting down at the PC, powering it on, and going to the F150 Forum. I wonder what this would have cost it I had taken it to a garage or dealer?

Many Thanks!!!!

I "fixed" my switches like in the post above... cleaned them up nice. a lot of corrosion on them. worked great for about a week then stopped working again. Then i went to a wrecker and paid 120$ for a used switch from a 04. it worked for about a week.

Then i bought a brand new, in ford box, switch from a guy on ebay called switchdoctor. it was 70$ and works great.
