Default Power window problem

My back right window will go down from the drivers door but won't go up. It will go up with the switch on that right rear door. Any thoughts on what could be causing this?

The driver door window switches are known for getting finicky with age. It's possible to take them apart and clean the contacts. That will likely fix your problem. A broken wire is always possible, but I'd start with the easy check first.

And if you get tired of constantly cleaning the master switch ( I did ), you can get a brand new OEM Motorcraft 1 from Rockauto for 50 bucks

Thanks! I will take that apart today and clean those contacts. I just had to replace the left back door window motor and regulator about a month ago. I will post how it went when I finish

Do the contact cleaning first but if that doesn't help then pull back the rubber boot inside the driver door jamb and inspect each wire for slight damage. Some wires tend to break from so much usage of the door. I fixed 3 of mine that had split apart completely.

Update:
Went to clean the contacts and before I got started I figured I would try the switch, and it started working again! Go figure. Not sure what is going on but I guess a good cleaning wouldn't hurt things. What do you clean them with?
