Default Power steering whine?

My truck is making a whining noise from the front of the engine and my steering feels a little weird, from the research I've done I think it's the power steering pump. How could o go about fixing that? Do I have to replace it or change the fluid?? Any thoughts

Have not heard of too many power steering pumps gone bad in this model year.. are you sure it's the pump making the whining noise...it could very well be an Idler pulley and your steering shaft needs to be greased.

It could be my idler pulley, it makes more noise when I turn. It's really noticeable when I'm going slow but when I'm going faster I don't really hear it, but that could be cause my truck is loud

It starts when it's in drive, it gets loud as the Rpms go up. It started after my truck got really hot in stop and go traffic.
