Power steering pump pressure line

Power steering pump pressure line
I recently had to replace the power steering pump on my 2005 F150 with the 4.6 liter V8 engine.
Everything went smoothly until I tried to start the pressure line. Is there a secret to starting the pressure line? No matter what I do I can't seem to get the first thread to start.
I tried taking the pump back off of the vehicle but because the bottom bolt has to go in before the line is started it keep getting in the way.
Any help would be welcome...I really need to get this truck back on the road.

Hmmm, no secrets that I am aware of. Perhaps remove the pump and thread the line in to be sure everything fits - maybe either the wrong pump or some of the lead-in threads on either the line or the pump aren't quite right.

Thanks
Thanks for the quick reply. I finally had to take the pump back off and inserted the bottom bolt. I put masking tape on the threads to hold the bolt flush to the pump. I was then able to start the pressure line and swing the bolt back around and get it started. Just a matter then of starting the two top bolts and remounting the pulley.
