Default Power Rear Window Problem

The plastic clip where the steel control cable clips in broke on my sliding rear window. Does anyone know of a fix for this? I'm being told my only way to fix it is to replace the entire rear window.

The clip is not sold seperately, as this has been discussed here before. Your only bet would be to hit the junkyards to locate a good used assembly verses buying a new one from Ford, or to fabricate a clip yourself.

If you do this, consider marketing this; you'd get some takers here, as this is one of the few complaints folks have with ntheir 2004 to 2008 power window equipped Ford F-150's.
