I'm with [MENTION=175781]lewissa81[/MENTION], and it's too easy. I've been doing it this way for a long time. Mash the throttle to the floor and run the starter as long as you want or until you think it has had time to prime the cams and timing chains. Then let off and fire her up.


Have a good clean arm oil change next time.

Considering it'll be 6 months till the next oil change, I'll try to remember that and see if it helps.

I'll have to do the next one with the skid plate in place and skip the pre-fill. I just have visions of the oil spreading across the plate and coming out every one of those holes. Apparently its not an issue?
