I'm going to clean the tb mass air and pull the coil packs inspect them clean them ect. The plugs where changed literally less than 2k miles ago. Maybe the gap is wrong? I hate how this engine is 25% into the fire wall lol makes it a serious pain.

When the plugs were replaced, were they all replaced? I'm not meaning any insult but when mine did this and I changed the plugs, one of them had a different part and batch number than the other 7. The previous owner or a shop had changed 7 of the 8 and left the hardest one to get to. If you did it yourself then I'm sure you didn't do something like that. Just a troubleshooting question to ask.

When the plugs were changed did you change the rubber boots and springs and put dielectric grease in them?

Exclamation

Previous owner did everything then sold it 2k miles later think he was chasing the jerking issue and he started to think it was tyranny and sold it to me to avoid fixing it lol. I got a good deal on it.

My exact symptoms on a test drive before I bought the truck. I made them change the plugs and the deal contingent on them fixing the issue. They replaced the plugs and the problem went away. That was about 20k miles ago and all is well

Mine does the exact same thing. I know everyone is saying plugs but I swear it's in the drivetrain...differential. My symptoms are accompanied by a whining noise that changes pitch with the speed of the truck. (Im guessing pinion bearing) A buddy had these exact same symptoms with the jerking from 40-50 and he ended up having to have the rear end rebuilt. Also my brother in law is having the same issue.

Changed my plugs yesterday, no more coughing or stuttering. Drove the truck 10 miles, unhooked coils and sprayed them with a little oil, went to go get the new plugs came back and the old ones came right out. No problems removing any of the old plugs. Truck runs like a champ now. Thanks everyone for their input and help
