Possibly a much cheaper substitution to Camburg/Icon Uniball Control Arms?

The first one went after about 200 miles and then the replacement started to show the teflon lining after a qiuck trip to costco. I know that its a wear item on the uniball joints but my guess is that they should seriously be lasting way longer than what I had...
The passenger side is good as can be, and I added some Finish Line Dry Teflon-Plus Lubricant. I'm not sure if they were duds that I happened to receive or if something with my alignment being way off on that side.

I wonder where he's getting a $600 price from? A new uni-ball kit is only about $75 for each side.

So that would make the price $250+$150 rebuild =$400. If you can find a set of Camburgs or Icons for $400, please let me know.

All these bad reviews came a but late for me. Up till now everything seemed good and I searched out the freedom suspension seller and made the purchase. They arrived Thursday and I came to read about the tri flow lubricant that was discussed earlier. Kinda wondering if I should go ahead and get the Camburg uniballs swapped in before I bother with the install. Anyone made the swap yet?

I don't understand why people order a cheap part to save a few bucks (in this case more than several hundred) and then complain when the part isn't up to snuff. The mentality eludes me. Anyhow, my set of these have worked just fine for over a year. Yes, the uniballs that come with them are crap. Yes, some type of webbing material showed up recently. Other than that it was a great bang for the buck purchase. It cost me 120 dollars in new Economy Uniballs from Pacific Customs to get these UCA's performing just as good as the 800 dollar UCA's. That's it. Even with this new purchase of uniballs from Pacific Customs my total investment is still WAY under what it would cost for a brand new set of Total Chaos or Camburg UCA's. AND, just like any other set of uniball UCA's.....they eventually have to be replaced as well sometime down the road. Just my .02 cents.

^ I think I'm going to do it. If they last a year, and I have to get uniballs, then I'm still money ahead of Camburgs.
