Default Possible to use these connectors?

I was installing a frequency shifter so I had to remove the cover... Behind it I saw a couple of connectors without a switch. Is it possible to buy the switch and use the functionality or isn't it as simple as that? Take a look at the attachments...

Also, I assume that the grey box (visible on photo 2) is the sat-tuner. Is it possible to remove that, and use that MP3-thingy from P.O.E.? I don't use the Sirius radio so I don't mind if I loose that functionality...

looks like you have the rear parking aid and cig lighter. i think that 3rd plug is for the defrost mirrors. the PIE connectory Y's into the aux plug(sat radio) at the back of the radio. so technically you can keep both.

ah thanx. I think my defrost mirror is integrated in the automatical climate control?

Do you know where the plug left to the sat tuner is? And the plug on the background?

First of all, what were you installing? A frequency shifter? Not sure what that is, can you post a link?
Also, what do you mean by "MP3-thingy from P.O.E."??

Helps if you can explain what you're doing a little better

I use this car in Europe, where we have FM-stations on odd and even frequencies. The frequency shifter 'shifts' the even frequency to an odd frequency when it's on, and passes the odd frequency's trough when it's off..

For example:
When it's on: 100.4 becomes 100.3, 101.0 becomes 100.9.
When it's off: 100.3 stays 100.3, etc.

The MP3-thingy is the PIE MP3 module for this radio, but I didn't remembered the name
