Possibility of factory headunit with 3.5mm Input AND iPod Input?
Hi all,
I've searched the forums and read the audio article. Just got my F-150 today. It's a 2004 without Sirius or the rear entertainment system.
My old Jeep had a headunit that allowed for either an external 3.5mm line-in (regular old headphone cable) input, OR the option for an iPod connector (that charged as well... just kept it in the glovebox).
Is this possible at all with the factory headunit? I like the factory look, and would prefer not to muck it up if possible.
Thanks in advance. LOVE this truck already, just need my own tunes! :-)

I just ripped my radio apart the other day and found out I have the Peripheral PXAMG. Who woulda thunk it. It comes with an iPhone charger AND auxilary. But both can play music through the Aux setting on the stock radio. I love it so far. And debating if I want to get an external hd radio controller. But I was so happy when I bought he truck and both wires were in the glove box.
