I had the same problem in my '04 except my warranty was done. For those who have this noise from the diff and no warranty left, I added another bottle of posi additive. It took a couple of weeks but the noise has been gone for a year now.

Something
Just saw this post. My truck does this too. It pops when turning either left (but can be to the right as well), just once, and sounds like somethings bumping the side of the bed. It usually happens when it's cold outside. What is turned out for me to be was that the leaf springs needed silicone lubricant sprayed around the leaf bushings. You can just spray the heck out of them or... the best way to do this is to jack up the rear end then take something like a crow bar (WITH RUBBER ON IT, DO NOT USE METAL ON METAL) or something to that effect that is lighter than steel and pry apart the leafs near the bushings and spray some lube into them. If you use something metal on the leafs you can scratch off the rust protection that is covering everything and that will eventually suck.
