I have a 6" rcx and found my "pop" noise to be the bolts on the passenger side lower crossmember. 1/4-1/2 turn of the bolts and after 6 months that D••N pop was gone so check your crossmember bolts really good !!! Betya you'll find a couple loose

Replaced the rotors and the grinding noise has gone away along with the shake while braking.

I still have the popping noise though. The noise is pretty loud and pops 2 or 3 times when gas is applied going forward or in reverse from a stop. The sound is coming from the front end for sure.

So far I've
-jacked up the front end and checked for play in joints/wheel bearings (no up/down side/side play)
-checked for play in drive shafts/u joints
-checked for broken springs

What else do I do to find this popping noise??
