If it has the two connectors that I showed, then it should work fine. Ballasts don't have a bulb number associated with them. You should be alright. Worst case you get all your stuff and you're short the bulbs and have to order them.

There's several connectors on the bulb, the black ones in my hand are the only two connected to the bulb, so I'm not sure the purpose of the other two. The two connectors plug into the black connectors on the ballast.

That should answer all your questions, and ease any nervousness you have.
In the last picture the two connectors in your hand plug the bulb to the balast as well as the bigger black one plugs into the balast, the two smaller ones plug into your harness on your truck. you can get an adapter but what I learned is you dont need one. if you are looking at the plug that normally plugs into your light bulb there are 3 holes. turn it so the round part is on top. the middle one is the ground. left would be low beam and right side is high beam. Plug the black in the middle and the red in the left side and the bulb will work. with the projectors, there are 2 wires coming off of that. the black one will get spliced with the black that goes into the middle and the red one will get plugged into the highbeam spot on the headlight socket. This will enable the projector to lower the block off inside the projector to allow more of the light to shine out of the projector.

Ok, the problem that I am having with my retrofit is this. I know that you have tried to explain it but I dont know if im not understanding yall or if you are not exactly sure of my problem. SO, I have included some pictures here. It looks as though the projectors I have are too long from the back to the front. Cutting the back out of the dome is not what I want to do, If i am going to cut it I will buy D2s and put them in instead. let me know what yall think if i can fix this.Poor Man's Retrofit (Picture Heavy)-projector1.jpgPoor Man's Retrofit (Picture Heavy)-projector2.jpgPoor Man's Retrofit (Picture Heavy)-projector3.jpgPoor Man's Retrofit (Picture Heavy)-projector4.jpg

Not sure if I'm just half asleep or what, but I didn't follow. The two little ones I'm holding onto plug directly in to my ballast. Running an H13 relay it has a plug that plugs into the ballast to give it power, hence why you don't have to connect to the stock connector on the passenger side. The driver's side connects to the battery, and then has a plug that connects to the stock headlight connector. That connection is purely to give it the signal of when to turn on, and when to do the high beams. The stock wiring is not used other than that if you run a relay (which I highly advise doing). My previous set of HIDs were wired the same way that I just mentioned, so I know that this way works.

Not sure if this will help you but this is the relay harness diagram from the retrofit source. H13 connectors and all. Includes everything you need.

CHUMCHAL72 Do you have a picture of the back of your headlights? I'm trying to figure out how much to cut. I've got a large rubber washer, a curved plate, a thin rubber washer, and a thin metal plate, then the nut, which I assume all goes below the bulb holder somehow. But with the amount I've taken off (almost all the raised portion on the back of the bowl) it doesn't all fit below the bulb holder.

Edit: Realized I have the right order but the large washer and curved plate go on the front side of the reflector... Hoping I haven't screwed myself by cutting too much material. I'm going to go back with a high temp epoxy to solidify the projectors in place after mounting them so that should keep me from having an issue of insufficient material. Hopefully.

Update 3/5: Tonight I got the shrouds repainted, and got clear coat on them drying right now. I'm waiting on my custom decals to be made then I will be clearing the reflectors after the decals are on them. Currently in the process of mounting my projectors, which is rather annoying. Haha

I'm probably not the authority here, but I think you have to cut the reflector bowl to get the projector to fit. I haven't seen any projector mounted where there isn't some clearancing of the reflector.
