PO 453 Code and doesn't work the fuel gauge
Hi boys, may U help me?
the truck (4.6 ext. crew 2004), doesn't show anything in fuel meter in the dashboard, I mean, despite I fill up the tank, nothing happens, except a text that saids "low fuel" and that annoying chime 5 times
At the same time, I've connected an USB reader, the only problem is PO 453
What I've found surfing the web is "evaporative emissions control system pressure sensor high input"
Where is this specific sensor ?
I've tried to find out anything else in the forum, but it didn't help me.
thanks in advance fellas.

Found this googling:
Periodically, the EVAP system performs a pressure test to check that there are no leaks in the system. It uses this sensor, also known as a fuel tank pressure (FTP) sensor to check for leaks. Basically P0453 means the PCM (Powertrain Control Module) noticed the EVAP Pressure sensor or FTP is indicating a higher than normal pressure (above 4.5 Volts) in the EVAP system. NOTE: On some vehicles the FTP is a part of the fuel pump assembly in the tank. It could be caused by a leaky/loose fuel cap, refueling with truck running, or a leaky vent line. Try clearing the code, then see if it comes back
For your F150, its located in the fuel pump module on top of the fuel tank.
