plugs,anybody ever try this
so i was thinking that when the plugs leave the porcelin in the head to try turning the engine over and leave the compression blow the rest of the plug out, what do you think?

But to the OP, I think a lot of people tried this method years ago. I don't remember or haven't heard of it actually working. Too much risk in damaging valves with a bunch of unburnt fuel for me to try it.

Seems like too many things are likely to go wrong with this. But by all means, try it on your truck and report back. But seriously, why not use the proper tool for the job instead of risking engine damage or shrapnel going through your hood?

do turn the engine over until you have ALL of the pieces out. Try duct taping a straw on a shop vac nozzle and clean all of the pieces out . If they go into the cylinder it will not help your cause.

Besides, there is little to no compression in the cylinder if there is no plug in it. You are relying on the top of the piston to push the porcelain out of the cylinder into a head that is 5 inches deep. Seems stupid to me..... rig up some 1/2" tubing duct taped to your shop vac and suck all the pieces out.
