you can try breaking it more maybe punching it... in all cases, you can vaccumm the cilynder before to move to the pusher. i used an small hose connected to my home vacuumm and it worked pretty good. do you know how much ceramic is out? by comparing with the others. if its flush, you could try to use the pusher again to push it completely.

what about adding something for the puller to be able to grab... you can always call the guys from the lisle tool company in the morning. they may had deal with that before. 1-712-542-5101 is their number.

I had the same thing happen with mine, same cylinder. It seemed like the tool got galled up and wouldn't grab anymore. Had the truck towed to the dealer and they were able to get it out with the Rotunda tool.
