Default Please Help with abs light on my 04
My passenger side front brake has been grinding since the beginning of last week. Well ive been busy all week and wasnt gonna drive it much so i just waited till this weekend and on wednesday the abs light came on well friday evening. I changed the brakes and rotors made sure fluid was at normal level it was. So im stuck is there away to reset this light? Or what should i do? Thanks guys.

you can re-set the CEL by disconnecting your batt for 15-20 mins...or stop by your local auto parts store ...they will read it and clear it for free

most stores like mine cannot clear an ABS light, only the engine light

Thought it was stored in the ECU like all the other codes....

not ABS its a computerized system on its own. rather pain in the *** if i do say so myself
