Default PlastiDipped wheels and some other things...

I did some matte black plastidipping to my fx4 last weekend. "bug guard", Wheels, fender flares, and window molding... I think it makes a world of difference... here are some pics of the progress, Im also going to do the bumpers and bottom of the doors...

i done my wheels on my gmc seirra a few years ago and loved the way they looked but to me it never really held up very well, seems like i always had to touch it up. Maybe the plasti dip has gotten better over the last few years, i have been thinking about doing my current wheels on my f150.

Do you think PlastiDip would help touch up the plastic cowl between the windshield and the hood?

I saw a thread on here once where someone had done that and they said it looked a lot better after.

i havent tried this, but i have seen people using a heat gun and heating up their fenderflares in short circular motions and it will restore the coloration to the original. they look like they are made out of the same material so it should work. i would look up the video on youtube of the guy doing it to his mazada trucks fender flares and it actually works. so maybe try that and you dont have to plastidip.

Wow! I'll have to take a look. My grandfather just gave me a heat gun a couple of weeks ago.

It works but doesn't last long. Truck looks good but the white letters are really noticeable now.
