hey guys, i was curious as to how anyone that's ran an amp wire from their battery got it into the cab... on my old truck batter was on driver side and I just cut a small slit in a rubber grommet and slid wire thru... this truck battery is on passenger side, and I don't really see anywhere I can run the wire into the cab... any suggestions and ideas would be appreciated! Thanks guys

I ran through a grommet on the passenger side firewall, down the door sills and to the back seat.

Deff through the fire wall. In the f150 its just a rubbery material only an inch thick behind the gas peddles and runs the length of the truck. Cut a hole in it and run the wire down the basebord. be careful not to have any thing it could catch on or that would cut the wire. You dont want a blown amp or your truck on fire. If you dont know what your doing really i would deffentally take your truck to a electronics shop.

I have a SuperCab, ran power from the battery, under the cab all the way back to a rubber grommet under the rear passenger seat.

Look on the passenger side front seat under the carpet, there is a rubber grommet that is perfect size for a wire

thanks guys, i ran the wire were Especial ran his and it's perfect! Might have to get a longer wire because at the very end of the run i had to bring it out of the kick panel so that it would reach my amp... Thanks again guys was a big help!!!! The deal was i saw that grommet earlier, but I didn't take battery out, after taking out battery and battery holder I had much easier access to the grommet!

Yeah, I forgot to mention that I had to pull the battery to run through that grommet, but you figured it out



This how I terminated my wire and where I put my amp. 10 to 12 feet should be plenty of wire. I was gonna leave the jack and put the amp on the back wall, but I decided I wanted the amp at easy reach... Now that I know the amps very reliable, I might toss it on the back wall if get the time.
