You have to remove it with the plastidip still wet if it dries you will peel the plastidip off with the tape. Or you can cut the edge of the plastidip where it meets the tape.

I took my rims off sprayed aircraft paint stripper and then took them to the coin op car wash and washed it all off.the original paint was fine because I didn't leave it on for more than like 30 seconds.then they got a trip to get powder coated.

And How Many cans Would I Need?

Also..98f150. . . . does your truck have a 3" leveling kit? i got that coming for my truck as welll want it to sit up an inch higher in the front
i used 5 coats i think its the perfect number

thanks sharkey, I only did one coat like I said cuz I was testing the waters with the design. I like it and now ive just been lazy and haven't done them right with multiple coats. I used less than one can but that is only one coat per wheel. and yes the tape is a little tricky but deff take it off when the dip is wet and I still had to have a razor handy so I didn't mess up the dip too bad. I think color match in the silver parts would look awesome depending on the color of the truck. and yes I have a 2.5 hell bent steel leveling kit with 35x12.50x17 fierce attitude m/t's love the set up just enough height for now.

As far as removal, I found the automotive bug and tar remover to be quite effective...Not on purpose
