Apart from some 250mph tires from a Bugatti veyron, is that even possible ?

Anyway, subscribed, sounds like an awesome project in the works
Budget for wheels and tires is $5,000, which sounds just about right for some 20x12 custom offroad wheels with bead locks and some 42x15r20 tires and the necessary accommodations for them.

Ah my bad, I read that in the quoted post below your actual post, where it was all jammed together on one line, got them mixed up

No point in getting bead locks unless you wait until some sort of societal breakdown. They aren't legal until then. Maybe have some wheels with bead locks set aside for dedicated off roading, but regular wheels for legal on road use. I'd stay away from a body lift. Only allows for larger tires and won't provide the advantage that a nice suspension lift would.

But lets be realistic. You have entirely missed the point when it comes to money allocation. You're going to want to set aside some serious coinage for a sound system. Lord knows if I am on a warpath in some sort of twisted society, or just rolling through the desert normally, I'm going to be blasting some Lynyrd Skynyrd .. Or whatever kind of music you prefer...

I believe if you look closely there is $5K allocated for "accessories". I'm pretty sure some "Sweet Home Alabama"-blasting speakers and a nice head unit can be worked into that budget

How can one possible crush zombie skulls and the bodies of trespassers and ne'er-do-wells without blasting lynyrd skynyrd and doing donuts after all?

Maybe I should paint the roof with a rebel flag while I'm at it, and paint 01 on the side and make the horn blow dixie!

Nah just playin' man, but a sound system is definitely a must.

Now excuse me while I go blast Lynyrd to annoy my neighbors.

Also, why the f*** aren't bead-locks street legal anyways, if anything they make my truck safer since they keep the tire from flying off. Honestly didn't know that, off-road wheels, no bead locks it is.

Speaking of wheels, does anybody have any suggestions? The only thing I can find in the sizes I am looking for is Fuel wheels.

They seem more for show than heavy duty usage.

Saving money for important things, so I decided against getting new emblems for the front and back and just painted them black instead. I may get some stickers for them on the cheap because I don't really dig the lack of contrast on them now. At least they are all one color:

Taped:

Scuffed:

Painted:

Did the front off the truck:

Front:

Back:

Also, I'm looking for a firmer brake pedal feel and better stopping in my truck. Would the Brakemotive set from Ebay do this? My rotors are already warped pretty badly, so I'll be ordering brakes within the next week or so.

If possible I'd like to stay away from having to bleed the brake lines, they seem fine at the moment, the pedal isn't really spongey at all, I just feel like the truck could use more stopping power. I'm hoping I don't have to upgrade the calipers to accomplish this.

Not so sure that brake setup will meet what you need for your eventual goal of 42" tires.....

Any recommendations on a proper setup for tires of that size?

I'll keep that in mind while I'm rolling in the finished product.

I have no suggestions on brakes but from my research you will want more than the stock setup.... I admit I did not click the link so they could be sufficient. Sorry should have checked before I replied.
