Default The plan for my 06 lariat screw 4wd

I currently have a 2006 lariat 4wd screw with a 6.5 ft bed. The truck has a 5.4 with 94,000 miles on it. It already has a magnaflow exhaust, gryphon tuner with custom tunes, and 33 in a/t tires on the stock 20 inch wheels.

I plan on adding:

rancho quick lift RS999910 struts up front.
Rancho RS 9000XL shocks in the rear

Additionally, I want to add toyo open country m/t 275/65/20 once my tires wear out in a few months. I will be keeping the stock wheels.

Does anyone see any problems that I may encounter? I think I have done all my homework, but it can't hurt to have a second opinion.

You should be in the clear, shouldn't have any rubbing issues at all. If that was what you were asking?

Yes rubbing was a big concern. The other was leveling a truck with 94,000 miles on it due to the added stress on the front end components.

I put the those shocks on my truck about a month ago. Huge difference over stock. The adjustably is nice also, so you can go from super stiff with awesome control to pretty squishy.

Also if you order before the end of the month there is a $120 rebate from Rancho. I got mine from amazon for about the best deal and free shipping

What setting do you typically run the shocks at? Can they be adjusted at any time? Thanks for the responses. Hopefully I can get them ordered by the end of the month to take advantage of the savings.

Sorry it took a few days...I just upped mine to 8 in the front and 5 or 6 in the back.

They can be adjusted anytime you want. There is a little *** on the bottom of the shock that gets rotated. I have heard of the *** seizing up in the winer due to salt and slush so I will probably try to cover mine up and see if I can void that. They also make MyRide that works from a compressor that comes with the kit, but its pretty pricey and I, personally, dont think its worth it.

Also on an install note, install the rear shock as directed. I put mine upside down and it was really bouncy.
