My 06 with only 52k miles on started leaking.of course ive lowered it 3/5 about 4 yrs before this leak.could it be my pinion angle is off?dont see why it started leaking with so few miles.?

I got my truck with 78K and within 5K mine started to leak. My truck is stock and things just wear out. I just fix stuff as they go and then the truck stays nice. Am going to read the service procedure today. Am thinking I'll get the part from Napa Auto Parts.

I would check the vent tube that runs from your rear end to the frame before replacing the seal. My pinion seal started leaking a couple months ago. So I pulled off the the vent tube and both it and the fitting where it attachs the rear end were clogged up with dirt, cleaned them out then put the tube back on and haven't had any issues with leaking from the pinion seal since.
