Pictures of a-pillar mounted guages?
For my next project, I would like to add some analog gauges to the truck, I had them in my old Camaro and it was nice.
Has anyone replaced their a-pillar and mounted gauges, have any pictures? I like the look of the ones that actually replace your A-pillar instead or just sticking on, but would like to see pictures.
How's the color match of the plastic to the OEM trim, and the fit?
Thinking I'll add Oil Temp and maybe vacuum gauge, not sure yet.

I think I saw a thread on here about a guy who made his own. I believe he took some kydex, shaped out a gauge shape to his A-pillar then bondo'ed it in, then painted the whole thing.
Personally I was looking for a post to add switches to the A-pillar, that's how I came across it.

There are some pics in this thread. Not the A pillar being replaced, but the O s**t handle section replaced with pods for gauges. I thought the Roush gauges in the vent were pretty cool looking too. Blown Ford's post #26 with his triple pod blended very well:

I just used a stick on. Pretty sure I bought mine from Jegs. It was black when I got it so I just picked up a can of interior beige. It doesn't match as you can see but it's close enough that it doesn't bother me. I def suggest one of your gauges be an oil pressure gauge. The second is really up to you. I went with a trans temp gauge (Simple install). I've seen people do voltmeters and temp, vacuum would be a first. It wasn't a painstaking process but you'll have to run plenty of wires so plan on that.
