Winner?

2700# trailer....
7100# 1947 1.5 ton DRW truck....

I made custom brackets with slam specialties RE 8" air bags for helpers just for the 6 hour trip....




CAT scale came back as a total of just over 14,000 #..... WAY WAY WAY over my 8000 # GVWR....

Wish I had pictures before I aired up the rear... was not pretty .......

Running BFG AT/KO E-rated tires at 80 PSI when I was hauling....

Hauling new fenders home for the 1947...



HID/Angel Eye/R8/Bull Bar Upgrade....

before the new wheels but still pulls like a champ better than the ol chevy did lol

This load isn't necessarily that interesting but I did earn twenty bucks for towing it a few hundred feet so that's gotta count for something. The guy who paid me for doing that said it weighted 3-4 hundred pounds, something tells me that's not entirely true.

26 foot tt. 4 wheeler and dirtbike in the bed. Most definitely glad I have the air bags. Sold the camper now, but was fun while I had it.

So is the 8000# tow limit due to the rear end sagging or the power capabilities of the truck? I'm new to trucks.
