Hey Kingofwood your going to have to get the badges and just shave off the tab hanging off the side of the fender badges that say the trim level and then "f150". There were some members on f150online that shaved that off and painted it so all the fender badges said where F150. I too wish they all looked like the tail gate badge.

As long as the little fx4 tab doesn't cover any holes...does it?

The tailgate emblem will not entirely cover up the holes when placed on the fenders of an 04-08

When the new badges are ordered, do they come with the adhesive on them or do I need to get some?

They come backed with adhesive already

The fender badges look okay, but the normal 04-08 badges don't look bad either.

Now the tailgate one looks nice, but I like the clean look my truck has with no badges, except the blue oval in the center of the tailgate.

how did you take off the tailgate badge. i noticed the new one has 2 clips does the old one (stock )

The new one replaces the old one perfectly covering all the holes and also using them to line up. Only if you order the flareside 09 badges because the flareside is the same bed as the 04-08 beds. The styleside is contoured a bit and so the style side emblem is curved.
