I just got done detailing my white FX4. I went over the whole truck with my porter cable using an orange pad (cutting) and some 3M fine cut compound.

Then I went over it today with my white pad and polish. Came out great but damn, the white vehicles leave you somewhat blinded by the time you're done!
yeah i was seeing spots by the time i got done with mine too. lol i started driving the truck in november when i finished the rebuild and the brakes were really rusty from sitting. i had those rust spots within a week or two and they got worse when winter hit thanks to the road salt.

yes i do wash it in the winter, but only in the quarter washes and only to get the salt off. when its 10 degrees outside, theres no way id be able to hand wash it every week.

its beginning pollen season here too. i use one of those california car dusters, they work great.
