Default Phone button on Nav Unit

OK dumb question time. What do i need to do to activate the phone function in my truck. Is it a module the dealer has to add or is it a software thing or what and is it available aftermarket?

i believe that what he is talking about, it shows a phone so if you get a call, press it once, and the music is muted.

I believe he is referring to the phone function. U have to look at the options list on your sticker. If it doesn't work now u need to have it activated at the dealer.....FYI its not cheap

Default Ford Stealerships at work

2 different dealerships want over 750 Canadian for the activation of the phone module in my truck. This seems high. Is this a cash grab or is there that much work involved?
