Default Passenger Window

Whats up, so i was driven down the highway this morning and my passenger window falls in to the door. does anybody know what could have caused this or what it could be?

its the window regulator if you have power windows or the window came off the track if you have manual windows.

Crappy designed regulator's, common problem. Hope the truck's still in warranty because they ain't cheap.

there is a small plastic peace holding the window up, it might of dried up and cracked, or your window regulators wire might of snapped, let me know what happens

i had to replace mine. took me only 15 mins but that was after i spent $300 for the dang regulator.

It was the plastic piece that holds the cable in place and ford wont just sell you that little piece of plastic. They make you buy the whole window assembly for $241 dollars

yeah that often happens because it drys up and cracks and eventually falls apart, but my driver door regulator wire snapped so since i have a mechanic shop i got mine for 200 but still alot

Shop around for the assembly. I'm in south florida and the dealers down here sell the asembly for $165. Learn how to replace them yourself, its not too bad a job and if you plan to keep this truck more than 3 years this will not be your last assemblt to fail,
