Default painted inside of truck to match outside

Well i was bored today and wanted to do something to my truck to make it stand out.Well i thought to myself, paint the inside of the truck to match the outside. So after going to about 8 auto parts store for the color(cardinal red)and some sandpaper i started.

Well come to find out the pieces i wanted to paint originally the whole dash would have had to be unbolted and out.i discoverd this as i was half way taking numerous bolts out that holds the dash,lol..So i instead went for the light gray peices and of course still allot of bolts to remove to get those pieces out,lol..Well hope ya'll like then as it looks stock actually.Next all the light gray in the front and the back will get painted red also..Hope ya'll like it I removed each piece from the dash, pain in the ***,lol. Also for the mirrors,i removed the inside of the door and the mirrore;s themselves, another pain in the ***,lol

I know their were an fx2 package in one of the years 2004-2005 that you could get the inside of your truck to match the outside and after seeing pics of the online a couple of months ago,i like it and wanted to do mine

Dash pieces and the two mirror houseings

Cardinal red.It seems not many came with cardinal red in 06.That was what 3 dealerships told me when i went looking for paint. Now yes they came in red,but acording do some research and the stealerships, ford only made 156 of the cardinal red in xlt 2006.Now if this is true,i dont know, but it seams plausible because i can barely find the collor anywhere in more than 5oz cans

Did you use a uv blocker like a uv clear or uv paint? Also what kind of prep work did you do?
