was your surround chrome on the grille? Mine is, and I would love to do a PTM on it, just dont think it would hold

No sir it was white from beginning but if you scuff it with like 400 grit sandpaper and use some good primer it should hold just fine or if you take it to a bodyshop who knows what they are doing they will do it but some bodyshops will try to tell you its not possible but ptobably because its not a big money job and they feel it would just get in the way
