Default Paint peeling on roof 2005 Scab

So bought a used Scab and the paint has let go on the roof of the cab. Some rust has started to form and I am wondering what would be best to stop the current rust until I can get it repainted.

Actually Yes it starts at the windshield and it is happening in 4 other spots as well, I looked really closely at it and it appears the paint was to thick, I have cracking in the paint in several locations and then the peeling in 5 spots (all over the roof)

There is some stuff you can get from AutoZone that is in the paint section . It's in a spray can. It's called rust stop or something to that effect. You need to sand the areas well and spray it on and allow it to dry. I added an extra layer . It will turn a blackish color when it dries. It actually stops the rusting process through a chemical reaction. Mine has stopped rusting and that was over a year ago. Mine is on the roof also.
