I've got the chrome package on my 07 XLT and am in the process of blacking it all out. I've already traded my honeycomb grill for a black Fx4, blacked ot the emblems, and painted my rims black. I've got a gallon of herculiner to do my lower 2-tone and was wondering if I should paint the bumpers black or just cover them in 'liner also?

I would go with the liner on the bumpers as well. I think it would look more consistent. That is however an awesome idea around the bottom of the truck. That is where most of the damage comes from anyhow.

I've been thinking about doing this same thing to my truck so let me know how it works out. And I would probably go with the liner, personally I like that look better.

Liner those bad boys. Gives it more of that off road feel, which judging by your pics is what you're doing.

For sure put the liner on there. I am going to break down and Line-X mine in the near future soon as Christmas is over. I think that would look good on your truck plus it will help with rock chips and other pieces of debris that damages the front bumper.

Be sure to post some pics when you get it done.

Haha looks like I'm going to line them. I'd get it done professionally, but don't have much spare money. Rather do it myself anyways.
