Default P2106 code after spark plug change

I recently changed my spark plugs and now from time to time I get the P2106 code thrown. If I turn my truck off then back on it goes away and is fine. It seems to happen every couple days. I've researched this but can't seem to track down why it happens at times then it doesn't at times. My truck is an 04 4.6 that I recently changed the spark plugs in. I never had this issue prior. From what I read, changing my plugs shouldn't cause this so I guess it may be coincidental it happened about the same time. Any advise is greatly appreciated.

Also to add, it doesn't seem to limit my speed, or power, however the truck has pretty high RPM at around 50 MPH, I believe its not going into 4th gear at that point.

Already read that along thread, was hoping someone had more information other than take it to a dealer and have them look at it. I'll probably clean my throttle body this weekend and see if that helps any.

Standard stuff: air filter, mass air flow sensor, throttle body (as you said). Clear the code (or unplug your battery for like a half hour and then do the relearn process). Let's see what that does.

Thanks LaMartian. I cleaned my air filter a few weeks ago, I'll take a look at it again. I've cleared the codes using my edge tuner but it seems to come back.

I failed to mention previously my downward O2 sensor on my passenger side needs replaced (has needed replaced for over a year) but I've let it go because from what I have read it is more for emissions and does not effect anything.

Haven't looked at the MAF yet, but that is on my weekend to do list along with the throttle body.
