Default P1608 code?

My 07, with the 5.4, went into limp mode yesterday on the highway. I felt a short stumble, then about 5 miles later another one, then a few miles later a bigger stumble, and the wrench light came on and it went into limp mode. Got it off the highway, looked underneath and under the hood for anything wrong. Everything seemed fine. Shut the truck off, restarted it, wrench light gone.
So I drive another 100 miles with no problems. Figure I would pull into the dealer to see if they could pull the stored codes. 45 minutes later, he comes up with P061B, and a code for my oversized tires(P1635).
So that did nothing for me. Just about home and it goes into limp mode again. This time I pulled the codes with my tuner while the wrench light was on. I got the same codes, plus a P1608 code. Called them back, and now they say there is no such thing as that code.
So I need some help on this one. They think something may have gotten water in it. It did rain for 2 days, then switch to snow, and I was driving in a lot of slush. Truck has 68,000 on the clock, so i am doing plugs/COPs very soon. FPDM was replaced.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Just got off the phone with Bully Dog. They say the code is for Internal ECM Malfunction. Anybody have any ideas on that? I'm starting to think that water may have gotten in around the connections. I don't have the truck with me today, but tonight I will check over a few things.
They (BD), also told me to unhook both positive and negative battery cables, and hold them together for 30 seconds to clear out that error.

I would pull the FPDM off and give it a close inspection. Some people have had aftermarket ones that are missing small sections of sealant, allowing moisture to get in and cause it to fail. Since you had all that rain and slush, that could be a possibility. An electrical short in the FPDM could possibly cause the pcm error (p1608 code).
Other than that, I like your idea of inspecting the wires for moisture intrusion.

I was thinking the same thing. I'll pull it off tonight to take a look.
