Default P0182 - Temerature Sensor "A" Circuit Low

Trying to find this sensor I came across the "Fuel Pressure Sensor". Is this the same unit or is the temperature sensor another unit?

I keep throwing this code and idle is just a bit rough.

Would this issue give me any gas mileage problems?

Entirely two separate sensors. The fuel pressure sensor is on the fuel rail.

If your temp sensor is reading a low temperature, it's going to leave the engine in a state where it's going to keep trying to warm up and will never succeed. Check your thermostat, coolant (for debris and just plain crap), radiator for anything clogging the fins, and fan clutch.

So everywhere I've searched states a P0182 points to a bad "Fuel Rail Pressure/Temperature Sensor".

LaMartian, if the Temperature Sensor is different, then where is it and what is it called?

My symptoms are that the code gets tripped within 2-3 minutes of driving (after fully cold - never tested hot).

This truck does not get much use anymore and had been sitting for 2+ months, then first time back on road it throws this code...

This truck has 87K on it...

P0182 is for fuel temperature, not engine temperature or fuel pressure. Initially it looked like you were asking about engine temp and fuel pressure, two separate things. The fuel pressure and fuel temperature should both be the same sensor, on the fuel rail on the left side of the engine (driver side).
