Guys at power labs say it will give me 130 more hp and around 200 more torque. But only dynos will show that.

Like I said I'll post pics and if I can get a video to work ill post that too. Hopefully they will get the parts some time next week.

One of these days I'll get the ford racing/whipple. Not a fan of the polished one but it looks good in the engine bay. What psi and custom air intake are you running? I noticed the pulley and intake changes from the two pics.

ive been wanting to do this, so how fast are you expecting your 0-60 to be? i feel like the 4.6's are sooo slow. do you have a crew cab or extended cab? i have exhaust and cold air intake and its still super slow.

There hasn't been a warranty on my truck for years...it's an 05 with a little over 100k on it. All the same it runs and looks new.

Well I think for now I will keep with my 3.55 gears, but I may have to do some tranny work to accommodate the new power.

I've spent many hours/days reseaching this subject as well (SC for 4.6). I learned from another forum you can in fact take a Procharger kit made for the heritage models 98-03 and retro fit it to work on our body style trucks, you have to custom repipe the intercooler. I think your tranny should be able to hande the power. I think the 4.6 stock tranny can handle like 700hp...*Correct me if I'm wrong. I don't have the skills to do that. Then I saw the STS turbo and thought going that route. I have decisions to make whenever my engine dies lol. Awesome you're getting it done. I'm excited to read and see pictures. Big ups!

I too considered the sts but around here in the winter it's pretty nasty weather conditions. The sts mounts under the truck near the bed, and I didn't like the idea of cold water hitting a hot turbo. Then I talked to someone that had an sts here and he said that he had a lot of problems with it. I like the idea of having my supercharger protected from the elements. Also out the door the sts was going to be a little over 7k. The procharger was also cheaper.
