It's amazing so many people are making tire suggestions without knowing a size.

I've had really good luck with the Hankook ATM Dynapros. I had an '03 with 17"s, and now I have an '04 with the 18"s. It is technically an all-terrain, but is nice on the road, quiet, evacuates water well, and has great ice and snow traction. I've gotten through a ton of snow and mud as well as smooth driving on the highway. They are also not terrible on price. Good luck!

I know you said you don't want an A/T but you may need to compromise a bit because of your need for snow traction. I'm running Toyo A/T2s and they have been great as far as quality and noise. Haven't had a chance to put them in snow yet but I expect good things.

Agree. Also amazing that people spend close to $1,000 on tires based on subjective responses from a handful of people they don't know.

Also, some tire sites have hundreds or thousands of reviews by consumers.

Because tires are only offered in one size??????? Not sure why I would need to know the size to suggest a brand/model of tire.

I'm going to let this go since you are more than likely not in the tire industry. Just know that your statement is incorrect and that tire size is very pertinent information when recommending a tire to a customer.

You would be correct, I am not in the tire industry. However I would be interested in learning why size is so important.

I would say the size has very little to do with it. A tire is designed to perform a certain way through multiple sizes. Whether is the stock 2756518 or a larger 3056020. Sure there will be some difference in how the tire performs, but the listed suggestions are good for some research on the OPs part.

So the same tire, but in a different size will perform different than the same tire that is either bigger or smaller? Who knew...........
